Rajasthan international film festival (RIFF) 2019 in Jaipur from Jan 19

The five-day long film festival is an initiative by RIFF film club and is supported by Rajasthan tourism department and ministry of tourism of India.

Jaipur: Fifth edition of Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF) will be held in Jaipur from January 19 to January 23 at INOX cinemas in GT Central near Malviya Nagar. The five-day long film festival is an initiative by RIFF film club and is supported by Rajasthan tourism department and ministry of tourism of India.

The state Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh launched the poster of Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF) at the Secretariat in Jaipur on Friday.

Several officials including the founder of the festival Somendra Harsh, Director of the festival Anshu Harsh, Member of the Advisory Committee and Chairman of the Forti Woman Wing Ranoo Srivastava among others were present on the occasion.

RIFF’s founder Somendra told the media that RIFF is not just a festival but it is a platform where people from the folk culture as well as from national and international places get exposure and opportunity to showcase their talent.

Major attractions of the five-day long film festival in Jaipur includes talk shows, movie bazaars, film screening, award night and a lot more activities.

Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh while launching the poster said that the programs like RIFF promote the tourism in state at a great level. Several artists, directors, producers and other film crew from other states and abroad take part in these International Film Festivals, which is a proud thing for the state.
