Rajasthan to increase DA of government employees by 2%
After the seventh pay commission was implemented, the DA of the government employees has already gone up to 5 percent. Now it will be increased to 7 percent.

Jaipur: It’s yet another election year bonanza for Rajasthan government employees and pensioners. The state government is all set to increase the DA of its employees by 2 percent. The finance department prepared a proposal in this regard and sent the file to chief minister Vasundhara Raje for approval. Sources said that the department has already got the CM’s nod and can make the announcement about the increase in DA in a couple of days.
After the seventh pay commission was implemented, the DA of the government employees has already gone up to 5 percent. Now it will be increased to 7 percent.
The Union government had increased the DA by 2% recently. After the central government’s announcement, the Rajasthan finance department also prepared a proposal for the increase in DA and submitted it to the chief minister. The proposal was approved following which it will be implemented.
“The chief minister will announce the increase in the DA. It will be implemented with immediate effect,” said a senior administration officer.
The increase will benefit nearly 6.5 lakh government employees and more than 3 lakh petitioners in the state.
