Jaipur: The Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) is driving a major housing push in 2025. It aims to meet growing demand for both affordable and premium homes. Several new projects and big discount offers have made RHB the centre of attention in the state’s housing sector.
A key project in Siroli village of Sanganer tehsil is finally moving forward. It spans 329.17 hectares and was stuck for years due to land restrictions under the Jaipur Master Development Plan 2025. Only 51.71 hectares were earlier marked for homes.
The rest was for public and ecological use. This delay ended after the state allowed land use changes under Section 25(4) of the Jaipur Development Authority Act, 1982. Now, most of the land can be used for housing, while green zones remain protected. RHB chairman and Principal Secretary Vaibhav Galriya said this shows the government’s push to expand housing in southern Jaipur.

At the same time, RHB has started a state-wide sales campaign. From May 6 to 28, housing camps are being held in Jaipur, Kota, Jodhpur, Barmer, Bhilwara, Banswara, and Pratapgarh. Ready-to-move flats are available at discounts of up to 50%. In Jaipur, the campaign started at Mahla Awas Yojana on Jobner Road. Prices there begin at Rs 4.70 lakh. Housing Commissioner Dr Rashmi Sharma said this move helps reduce the financial burden on buyers. It supports the state’s goal of “housing for all”.
RHB is also adding more housing schemes for different income groups. In Jaipur’s Pratap Nagar Sector-28, the Greenwood Iconic Tower will offer 84 premium 3BHK and 4BHK flats. Applications for these are expected soon.
In Baran district, layout plans have been cleared for 497 plots in Gopalpura village. In Udaipur, the Panerio Ki Madri scheme will see updates. This will create new homes for EWS, LIG, MIG-A, and MIG-B categories.
