Jaipur: Rajasthan high court on Thursday directed the HC administration to prepare revised result of RJS-Pre 2018 without affecting the merit list of previously successful students. The court asked RPSC to remove one more controversial question from the paper and allow students who clear the exam beyond the existing list to appear in the RJS Mains.

The bench of Justice Mohammed Rafeeq and Justice NS Dadhdha issued these orders after hearing 33 petitions filed in the matter including the one by Aarti Meena. The petitions had raised a question mark over as many as 20 questions that appeared in RJS pre.

The high court bench had completed the hearing in these petitions on July 11 and reserved its order. The order says that the candidates who have already qualified for the RJS Mains should not get affected.

The high court administration had invited applications for 197 RJS posts. Over 42,000 candidates applied and nearly 27,000 candidates appeared in RJS pre. Of them,  3290 cleared the exam. The administration received nearly 2900 objections over the questions. The RJS Mains exam will take place on July 27 and July 28.
