Rajasthan Heritage Week to feature collections by National Award winners

Jaipur: Season three of Rajasthan Heritage Week will start from December 7. This Grand Fashion Week will be held at Hotel Diggi Palace for four days. The event is set to witness collections from more than 25 famous designers across India including some national award winners. The event is organized by Rajasthan Khadi Village Industries Board.

International designers will showcase many innovations on Khadi along with the Indian designers at Heritage week. This event is being organized for the purpose of establishing Khadi as a fashionable fabric. The unique aspect of this event is that all designers will have to prepare their collections by using the fabric provided by Khadi Village Board of Rajasthan. Models from Mumbai, Delhi, and Jaipur will present the Winter Wedding Collections at this Fashion Week.

In this fashion week, many weavers of Rajasthan will also get to see their work on the ramp. Show director Prasad Bidapa said that this time more Designers will get to showcase their collections compared to the previous two seasons. One of the most renowned fashion designers in the world, Rohit Bal will showcase a floral Trend using a while them. On the other hand, celebrated Bangladeshi Designer Biwi Russell will showcase a range of sarees. Goa’s designer Wendell Rodricks will present Khadi with multi-color palette in which he will showcase the vibrant colors of. Designers Hemant Trivedi and Pavitra Mudia will present a saree collection.
