Jaipur: The Rajasthan government has issued the guidelines for Lockdown 4.0. The guidelines are in line with those issued by the central government on Sunday; however, with some modification. Click the following link to download the order: Lockdown 4.0 in Rajasthan
The ban on gutakha and cigarette shops will continue, while it has been lifted from saloons and beauty parlours. All types of shops except those situated in containment areas will be allowed to open. The shop keepers will be required to follow social distancing guidelines and ensure that they are wearing masks all the time. Some reliefs have been announced for small businesses.
The taxis and cabs will be allowed to carry no more than two passengers in green and orange zones. The government and private offices will be allowed to open, the attendance of employees will be no more than 50%. Gathering of five or more people will not be allowed.
There will be a ban on public functions. A prior permission will need to be obtained from SDMs for wedding functions.
Some restrictions will continue to be in place in red zones in Rajasthan. The ban on bus transport will continue in red zones. In containment areas, no commercial activities will be allowed. There will be supply of essential items in the containment areas. The people will not be allowed to venture out of their homes from evening to morning.
Even as the state has entered the Lockdown 4.0, the COVID-19 cases continue to increase at a rapid pace. By Monday afternoon, as many as 173 fresh cases of Coronavirus were reported.
