Rajasthan Digifest (RDF) 2018 to be held in Bikaner; Here is how to register

Fifth edition of RDF 2018 is already receiving registrations in large numbers.Various events will provide participants a wide exposure to technology, trends and jobs.

Jaipur: Rajasthan Digifest 2018 is being organised in Bikaner by the Rajasthan government’s Department of Information Technology and Communications, from July 25- July 27. Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhra Raje will be the chief guest. Government Polytechnic College and Industrial Training Institute, Bikaner will be the venue for Digifest 2018.

Being the largest technology fest of India, it has till now came up with five editions and under its banner several events like Hackathon, Tec Rush, Exibition, Job Fair, Emitra\ITGK, Edu-hack, Greeen-A-thon and Startup Fest have been organized.

Job Fair (July 26-27) will be the highlight of the event as there will be around 100 companies, where youths from Rajasthan will get a chance to launch their careers with the opportunity to work with the best organisations of the country. So far, over 50,000 candidates have already registered for the job fair.

The fest won’t just give on-the-spot work offers, but will also prepare youths to enhance their future occupation prospects. There will be numerous preparation and workshop sessions for the candidates. From preparing CVs to building powerful relational abilities, the applicants will get a chance to enhance their prospects for employment in the technology world, said an officer.

The individuals who can’t anchor work offers will be given tips and traps on expanding their employability chances. Each candidate can apply maximum for three companies. Based on the interview, the candidate may either get an on-the-spot offer or could be short listed for further rounds.

The events and sessions will provide participants a wide exposure to technology, trends and jobs.

RDF first started in 2016 with 1000 people to support and strengthen the technological ecosystem in the state, but has now established itself as India’s largest technology and start-up festival, attracting more than 1 lakh people from around the globe.

From entrepreneurs and IT experts to students and citizens, everyone can grab this opportunity to be a part of this fest and take back a memorable experience filled with knowledge, said a senior officer. The fest’s theme is “Technology for All” and all the events are conceptualised accordingly.

Events like Hackathon for coding community to showcase their hacks, TecRush forsports and fun activities, Startup fest for entroducing new entrepreneurs and business and Green- A-thon will be organized. The participants are being offered a platform to showcase their ingenious solutions related to sustainable energy as well as environmental issues and much more.

Until now it had been organised twice in Jaipur, once in Kota and once in Udaipur successfully.
