Jaipur: Jaipur is set to become a major startup and technology hub early next year as Rajasthan hosts the Rajasthan DigiFest & Global Summit 2026 from January 4 to January 6. The three-day event is being positioned as a key platform for startups, young entrepreneurs, and technology professionals to connect with global investors, mentors, and industry leaders.
The summit is expected to attract founders, CEOs, and investors from more than 1,200 global technology companies. Organisers say the presence of over 20 unicorn and unicorn-stage startup founders will give Rajasthan-based startups direct exposure to international funding and mentorship opportunities.
A major highlight of the event will be the Rajasthan Regional AI Impact Conference. Several sector-focused sessions on artificial intelligence are planned, covering how AI is transforming industries and startups. On January 6, the state government is also expected to formally release its Rajasthan AI-Empowered Policy, underlining the state’s push to integrate AI into governance, industry, and innovation.
Ahead of the summit, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma chaired a review meeting and said the event would help establish Rajasthan as a leading centre for IT and startup development in the country. According to officials, the summit is part of a broader strategy to strengthen the state’s startup ecosystem and attract long-term technology investment.
More than 10,000 participants are expected to attend the event, including startups from India and abroad, investors, young entrepreneurs, IT professionals, students, and senior officials from multiple states. Key government representatives from the industry and commerce department, information technology and communication department, along with senior state officials, will also be present throughout the summit.
From an economic perspective, the DigiFest is seen as a significant opportunity for Rajasthan’s startup ecosystem. Officials estimate that startups in the state could attract investments exceeding Rs. 200 crore through networking and sectoral sessions during the summit. These sessions will focus on areas such as fintech, e-commerce, agritech, healthtech, edtech, mediatech, sports tech, AI-ML, and deep tech, offering expert guidance to early-stage and growth-stage founders.
The innovation showcase will feature 114 startup stalls from across Rajasthan, allowing entrepreneurs to present their products, technologies, and business models to investors and industry leaders.
Several well-known national and international personalities are also scheduled to participate in the summit. The speaker list includes AI startup founders, senior executives from global technology companies, Grammy Award-winning artists, venture capital leaders, academic experts from leading global institutions, and senior figures from the international tourism sector.
