Jaipur: Rajasthan high court on Tuesday rebuked Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) for its failure to conduct examinations properly and imposed a fine of Rs 5 lakh. The court asked the commission to release the results of junior accountant recruitment exam – 2013 after removing marks of a controversial question that appeared in the paper.
It would be for the fourth time that RPSC would release the results for the same exam.
High court said that RPSC was unable to conduct any examination properly.
The petitioner in the case had approached the court against a controversial question (number 59) demanding that it be removed.
RPSC has released revised results thrice already.
RPSC had set up two experts committees to decide whether the question should be removed.
It then set up an expert committee for the third time. The committee suggested that the question should be removed.
The court has now asked RPSC to remove the marks of the question and release the revised results once again.
