R-U students given last chance to fill up examination forms online

Jaipur: Rajasthan University students have been offered the last chance to fill up examination forms.

Rajasthan University has extended the deadline for filling up examination forms online till Wednesday. The university’s examination cell has put up a link on the website again. The officials said that the students, however, will have to pay a late fee that is equal to examination fee if they apply during these three days.

Controller of Examination, Rajasthan University Dr BL Gupta said many students were complaining that they couldn’t fill up examination forms.  In a relief to these students, the university has extended the deadline for three more days. Regular, private and postgraduate students would be able to apply online.

The university administration had begun the process for applying for examinations on December 9. The last date for filling up examination forms was December 31.

Thousands of students couldn’t fill up the forms online for the first few days due to excessive load on the website’s server. The website was not operating properly, they complained.

Many colleges and students were demanding that the date be extended so that the student who couldn’t fill up the forms could apply.
