JAIPUR: The allotment process of 140 institutional properties (coaching complexes) developed in the coaching hub in Pratap Nagar by the Rajasthan Housing Board has started. The last date for the first phase is September 30.
Around 40 institutions have applied for more than 50 coaching campuses till now. Housing Divisional Commissioner Pawan Arora said the coaching institutes applying till the last date of the first phase will be allotted institutional properties soon.
In the first phase of the allotment process that started on July 25, priority has been given to the coaching institutes of Jaipur. The coaching institutes of Jaipur who apply by the stipulated date will get priority. The Rajasthan Housing Board is likely to announce some changes in the terms and conditions of the allotment process for the second phase.
RHB is developing nearly 140 coaching complexes in Pratap Nagar. The need for a coaching hub was felt because the coaching institutes are located in heavily populated areas. The idea is to help them relocate to Pratap Nagar. It would be beneficial for both the city and the coaching institutes. While it will reduce traffic congestion in the areas where the coaching institutes are currently operating, the coaching operators will get more space to accommodate students.
