JAIPUR: The High Court Association and Session Court’s Bar Association in Jaipur have announced their election results.
Prahlad Sharma emerged victorious as the President of the High Court Association, defeating Mahendra Shandilya by a margin of 237 votes. ISushil Pujari was elected the General Secretary position, defeating Dr. Sanjay Khedar by 130 votes.
The High Court Association also saw the election of Nikhilesh Katara and Ashok Kumar Yadav as Vice Presidents, while Chitank Sharma, Yogesh Kumar Taylor, Meenu Verma, Lalit Gautam, and Ashima Mathur secured roles as Joint Secretary, Treasurer, Social Secretary, Library Secretary, and Joint Library Secretary, respectively.
The Session Court’s Bar Association elected Pawan Sharma as President, who won against Sandeep Luhadia by a margin of 833 votes. Rajkumar Sharma achieved success as General Secretary with 1226 votes. The posts of Vice Presidents were secured by Advocate Lakshmi Sharma and Advocate Vandana Mathuria, with Krishna Kumar Yadav, Bhagwan Sahay Verma, Abhilash Jhuria, Gajendra Singh Naruka, and Naval Kishore Sharma filling other key positions.
The High Court Bar Association also elected Nishant Sharma and others as executive members. The elections, mandated by the Supreme Court and High Court, saw a significant turnout, with 87.38% and 82.75% voting in the High Court and Session Court Bar Associations, respectively.
