Poornima University hosts ‘Global Exposition Fair’ focused on international opportunities

JAIPUR: Poornima University (PU), Jaipur hosted the Global Exposition Fair, an event designed to inform students on a range of international opportunities.

The fair was inaugurated by Dr. Daniel Connell, an Australian artist.
Senior officials of Poornima University – Dr. Suresh Chandra Padhy, President; Dr. Manoj Gupta, Pro-President; Dr. Chandani Kirpalani, Registrar; and Dr. Swati Gokhru, Dean of International Relations – were in attendance.
They encouraged over 500 attending students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, along with faculty members, to ambitiously chase their dreams.
A highlight of the event, as shared by Dr. Swati Gokhru, was the Passport Awareness Drive. This section aimed to underscore the significance of passports and to guide students on the acquisition process, proving especially vital for those considering overseas education or work.
Representatives from Global Reach, led by Pawan Solanki, occupied a prominent section of the fair. They offered insights into higher education opportunities in countries including the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia, detailing academic programs, admission processes, and available scholarships.
Aiesec students and international volunteers explained global programs and internships, while members from the ELTAI Jaipur Chapter, including its president Dr. Shaila Mahan and Dr. Preeti Bhatt, advised on English language proficiency tests, a prerequisite for many international academic programs.
A dedicated section provided attendees with information on scholarships, detailing eligibility, application timelines, and processes for both domestic and international scholarships.
Feedback from the event was overwhelmingly positive, with many students expressing their appreciation for the direct interactions and valuable information gleaned from the fair.
