Poornima hotel management students organize theme Lunch ‘Crick-Eat’

In view of the ongoing T20 World Cup these days, this event was organized on the cricket theme.

JAIPUR: The students of Poornima Institute of Hotel Management (PIHM) organized ‘Crick-Eat 2022’ on the campus in which many eminent personalities of Jaipur’s hotel industry enjoyed the special dishes prepared by the final-year students.

In view of the ongoing T20 World Cup these days, this event was organized on the cricket theme. Prof. Rajiv Jain, Vice Chancellor, the University of Rajasthan (RU) attended the event as the chief guest. He appreciated the effort of the institute to provide the students with an exposure to the hotel industry. Sunil Bhargava, Director, PIHM said that this program was organized with the aim of developing entrepreneurship and managerial skills among the students.

For this event, the guest restaurant here was decorated with a cricket theme. The dishes were designed according to the bat, ball, stump, ground and players of cricket and were also given unique names.

The starters included Bhajji’s style Jalapenos, Cheese Balls, Gilchrist Fish Sticks, and Duminy Chicken Peri-Peri. The guests relished the Kohli Broccoli Almond Soup (with Garlic Grissini).

Appetizers included Jadeja Chinese Bhel, Mahi Kimchi, Siddhu Fattoush and Aaloo Kapil Kakdi Chat, while the main course featured a great combination of Jayasurya Paneer Khurchan, Aaloo Pandya, Murlidharan Korma, Rawalpindi Chana and Hattrick Dal Sultani.

Apart from these, Mutton Tendulkar, Watson Barbecue Chicken and Bumrah Burani Raita were also specially decorated. The Desert Series, named the Last Man, included Morne Mousse, Paraline Boundary, No Ball Panna Cotta and Bouncer Beetroot Halwa. The guests also offered some tips for success in hotel management to the students.
