Police inspector among 5 arrested in constable exam paper leak case

Jaipur: Rajasthan special operations group (SOG) has arrested five more people including a police inspector – currently posted in CID-CB – for their alleged role in leaking the paper of constable recruitment examination – 2021.
The SOG teams carried out raids at several places across the state and arrested the five accused. The agency has so far arrested 13 people in the case. Interrogation with those arrested is going on to find a few others who are believed to be the masterminds.
According to SOG, those arrested have been identified as Shahrukh Khan (20), Manoj Kumar Verma (39), Pooja Mamnani (38), Kanwar Singh (24) and Rajendra Prasad Meena (40).
Rajendra Prasad Meena is a police inspector in CID-CB, Jaipur. It has come up during preliminary investigation that fake SIM cards were provided by Shahrukh Khan and Kanwar Singh for the paper leak. They played an active role in leaking the constable recruitment exam paper at Diwakar Public Secondary School in Jhotwara area of Jaipur.
SOG had arrested five accused on Thursday night. A total of 13 people have been arrested so far by SOG in the constable recruitment paper leak case.
After the paper conducted in the second shift on May 14 was leaked, the accused people were booked under the new law with provisions for the confiscation of the property and stricter imprisonment terms. Under the new law, the person may be sentenced to a maximum of 10 years imprisonment.
Those who were arrested earlier include Shalu Sharma who was the centre supervisor, her husband Mukesh who was the assistant centre supervisor, along with five others.
