Panic in Kalwar as youth found murdered on roadside
The victim was murdered as his throat was slashed with a sharp-edged weapon and his hands and legs were found tied with a rope.
Jaipur: The body of a youth was found near Ganga Mata Mandir in Kalwar area on Friday morning. The victim was murdered as his throat was slashed with a sharp-edged weapon and his hands and legs were found tied with a rope.
Police officials said that efforts were on to identify the victim. Senior police officers arrived at the spot after receiving information about the body.
Panic gripped Kalwad area on Friday morning when some people spotted the body of a young man lying in a pool of blood near Ganga Mata temple. They informed the police control room following which ACB Jhotwara Aash Mohammed and other senior police officers reached the spot. A forensic examination was also conducted.
Police suspect that the victim was murdered somewhere else and his body was dumped sometime during the night.
“We have launched an investigation. The victim has injury marks on his neck and other body parts. His throat was slashed with probably a knife. The first priority is to identify the victim,” said a police officer.
The news of the murder spread out in this populated area quickly.
