Nahargarh Biological Park ACF Jagdish Gupta said that apart from the lions, there are other animals too kept in enclosures. Soon, chitals will be released into the safari area. Tourists will be able to sight several other wild animals in the park during the safari.

With the rise of tourists for the Lion safari, more vehicles will be introduced, added Jagdish.

A visitor told The PinkCity Post, “I came with my two sons and they were very excited to see lions roaming freely. One of them got a bit scared as he thought the lion will attack him. The safari was a great experience for the family. It was an hour-long ride. The safety measures were adequate. It is a great initiative by the state government”.

Students participated in the writing competition organized at Nahargarh Biological Park. They wrote about conservation of the wild animals.

According to forest officials, wildlife tourism will reach to greater heights with this project. A total of 10 lions will enthral tourists during the safari at Nahargarh Biological Park. For now, the visitors will be able to sight three cubs named as Tejas, Tripur, and Taara roaming freely over an area of 36 hectares.
