No parking fee at SMS Hospital from Sept 27

Jaipur: Patients and their words coming to Sawai Man Singh Hospital (SMS) in Jaipur will not have to pay parking fees from September 27 as per court orders.
A local court has ordered the hospital administration not to impose any charges for parking facility provided to patients, their relatives, attendants and other visitors of the hospital. Apart the court also asked the administration to ensure that the SMS Hospital staff keeps the premises clean and well managed.
The court said that the hospital administration provides basic facilities like water and medicines free of cost to the relatives of the patients admitted at SMS Hospital, so there should be no charges for parking also as it is a public utility.

One Narendra Puri, a resident of Murlipura area of Jaipur, had filed an application in the court against SMS Hospital parking fees. The court ordered the administration not to impose any parking fee after hearing the application.
