New transport office in Chaksu to speed up work related to vehicle registration, RC, driving license

Jaipur: The Rajasthan transport department is all set to start six more sub-transport offices in the state, including one in Jaipur, for the public’s convenience.
Transport Commissioner Mahendra Soni has given his node in compliance with the budget announcement for the same. According to the orders issued by Rajasthan Transport Commissioner Mahendra Soni, now Chaksu will also be a sub-transport office under the regional transport office Jaipur. A transport inspector will head the Chaksu office.
The number of transport offices will go up to eight in Jaipur district. District Transport Officers (DTOs) heads Kotputli, Shahpura, Chaumun, Dudu, and Vidhyadhar Nagar RTOs.
Khajuwala transport office will be under Regional Transport Officer Bikaner and Kaman transport office will be under the jurisdiction of Regional Transport Officer Bharatpur.
Similarly, Rawatbhata will be under the jurisdiction of Regional Transport Officer Chittorgarh and Jaitaran under Regional Transport Officer Pali. Kuchaman City will be under District Transport Officer Nagaur. Three Sub Transport Offices have been upgraded to District Transport Offices where a DTO will head the office.
Sumerpur, which has now been upgraded to the District Transport Office, will be under the regional transport officer Pali. Pokaran has been upgraded to District Transport Officer Office. It is under Regional Transport Officer Jaisalmer and Sadulshahar has been upgraded to District Transport Officer Office which will be under Regional Transport Officer Sriganganagar.
