National HR Conclave on ‘Transforming Business for Tomorrow’ held at Poornima University, Jaipur

Industry leaders and HR professionals from about 20 companies made the students aware of the new ways of doing business in the changing times.

Jaipur. A National HR Conclave was held on Saturday at Poornima University (PU), Jaipur on the theme ‘Transforming Business for Tomorrow’. Industry leaders and HR professionals from about 20 companies made the students aware of the new ways of doing business in the changing times.

Puneet Rao, COO and co-founder of Metaliio Inc was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony. He told through the examples of the Beatles Music Group, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs that opportunities are not visible, they have to be recognized. Just one incident in life can bring a big change for you.

Under the conclave, panel discussions were held on the topics of ‘The Human Element in the Age of AI:’, ‘Leadership and Innovation in a Dynamic Business Landscape’ and ‘Bridging Technology and Business Strategy’. These included Salil Lal, Executive Officer and CHRO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited; Dharm Rakshit, HR Head of Hero MotoCorp Limited; Palabatla Venkatesh, HR Vice President of Avineon India Pvt Ltd; Vikram Sharma, Delivery Partner and Head, Jaipur Development Center, Infosys Limited; Satish Malhotra, Associate Director, Nagarro; Moonmoon Roy, Vice President, HR, HDFC AMC Ltd; Shantanu Mitra, CHRO, Bajaj Finserv Direct; George Cardoz, Head, HR & Talent Management, Forbes Marshall; Dr. S. Naga Siddharth, CHRO & Vice President, NHRD Blr; Deep Banerjee, Head, HR, Huhtamaki India; Archana Srivastava, Head, HR, TE Connectivity; Abinash Mohapatra, Head, Campus Recruitment & Relations, KPIT; Ambikesh Vyas, CHRO & Chief Strategy Officer, Dr. B. Lal Clinical Laboratory; Suman Peswani, HR Head, Minimalist and Garima Jajoo, CHRO, Shubhashish Homes discussed the topics.

The experts talked about the balance between technological advancements and preserving the human touch in HR practices. They explored how leaders can drive innovation and adapt to rapidly changing business environments. Also, the need to combine technology with strategic business planning to achieve sustainable growth was also emphasized. Dr. Suresh Chandra Padhy, President, Poornima University gave the welcome address and talked about the four industrial revolutions. Pro-President Dr. Manoj Gupta delivered the vote of thanks.
