Jaipur: The winter schedule has come into force for Nahagarh Biological Park in Jaipur. The tourists will now be allowed to visit the park from 9 am to 5 pm. The timing was changed on October 15 and the new timing will remain till March 14.
“The winter schedule is enforced every year from October. Since the days are shorter, we have decided to allow the visitors till 5 pm only,” said a senior park official.
He added that they are expecting a huge increase in the tourist footfall during the winter season.
“The people like to enjoy wildlife during winter. We are expecting an increase in the number of not only domestic tourists, but also international tourists,” said the officer.
He added that a lot of new attractions are being launched for the park visitors.
“We already have a zoo. The people can enjoy lion safari. In addition to that, we are going to launch the Exotic Park where the people will be able to enjoy sighting of a hippo pair and also elephant safari,” said the officer.
