Murder over Pulwama attack? Pakistan prisoner dies in Jaipur Central Jail

A Pakistani prisoner died under a mysterious condition at Jaipur Central Jail on Wednesday. It is suspected that three convicts lodged in the jail murdered the Pakistani inmate to revenge the Pulwama attack.

Jaipur: A Pakistani prisoner died under mysterious circumstances at Jaipur Central Jail on Wednesday. It is suspected that three convicts lodged in the jail murdered the Pakistani inmate to revenge the Pulwama attack. However, no official information has been received yet.

Jail administration and other investigative teams rushed to the spot after receiving the information.

The deceased has been identified as Shakar Ullah aka Mohammed Hanif who was lodged in Jaipur Central Jail on espionage charges.

The investigation is being conducted under the supervision of Jail IG Rupendra Singh. He told media persons that an investigation has been launched.

People are angered over Pulwama terror attacks in which over 40 soldiers were martyred on February 14.

An army jawan belonging to Jhunjhunu identified as head constable Sheo Ram along with four soldiers was martyred in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pinglan area in Pulwama district on Monday.

Five of the over 40 CRPF jawans who were killed when terrorists targeted a convoy with a car bomb at Awantipora in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on February 14 were from Rajasthan.
