JAIPUR: Moti Dungri Ganesh Mandir is one of the famous temples of Jaipur in Rajasthan. This temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, thousands of devotees offer prayers here. These people come from not only Jaipur but also other parts of the country.
Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple timings on Ganesh Chaturthi
On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the timings are different from regular days to accommodate the huge crowd of devotees.
In 2022, the temple was open from 12 am on August 30 to 12 am on August 31.
Mangala Aarti is held at 4 am, Special Pooja at 11:20 am, Shringar Aarti at 11:30 am, Bhog Arti at 2:15 pm, Sandhya Aarti at 7 pm and Shayan Aarti at 11:45 pm.
Traffic diversions
10-12 railings are set up for the devotees visiting the temple. Barricades are erected on Takhteshahi Road and from JDA Circle to Ganesh Mandir crossroads. These barricades are put up to allow entry to devotees coming to the temple.
Devotees are given entry using 5 railings leading to the temple, while the exit is allowed through five different queues.
For the entry, the queues start from Moti Dungri Road, JLN Marg (from JDA Circle) and Takhteshah Road.
Traffic diversions are put in place on JLN Marg, so the people using the route for regular commutes should avoid JLN Marg on special occasions such as Ganesh Chaturthi.
