Modi did injustice to people: Rahul Gandhi in Dungarpur

Jaipur: Congress President Rahul Gandhi reached Dungarpur district of Rajasthan ahead of upcoming Lok Sabha polls on Tuesday. He took blessings at the Beneshwar Dham Mahadev temple in Dungarpur before his public rally on Tuesday.

Gandhi said that the Modi government has done injustice to the people in past five years and the Congress government will do opposite of it and will do justice to people for next five years if voted to power.

Beneshwar Dham of Dungarpur is a tribal dominated constituency. Gandhi promised people to conduct a surgical strike against poverty and to empower farmers and tribal people after coming to power. 

Gandhi emphasized upon the Congress government’s NYAY scheme and other promises made by the party in their election manifesto. He promised to fulfill them all. 

Rahul alleged Prime Minister Narendra Modi for depositing country’s money in the bank accounts of big industrialists such as Anil Ambani, Nirav Modi among others. Gandhi said  that 15 people fled away taking farmers, tribal and public’s money worth Rs 1 lakh crore during BJP rule.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot were present with Rahul Gandhi during the campaign.

Few highlights of Rahul Gandhi’s speech at Beneshwar Dham:

•    Gandhi said that youth will not have to take any permission from government offices for their business startup at least for three years.

•    Congress has decided to amend the law so no farmer will land in jail for their inability in paying off loans. There will be a separate budget for farmers, said Rahul.

•    The Congress government will deposit Rs 72,000 annually in bank accounts of people with the minimum wage.

•    At least 22 lakh government jobs will be provided to youth in one year and 10 lakh jobs to youths at the panchayat level, if Congress is voted to power.

Rajasthan will go on Lok Sabha Polls on April 29 (Fourth phase) and May 6 (Fifth Phase) and the results will be announced on May 23.
