Jaipur: Medipulse Hospital in Jodhpur has solidified its position as Western Rajasthan’s most trusted name in kidney transplantation, performing its second successful kidney transplant in just four months.
The transplant team, led by Dr. Mayank Jain, Senior Nephrologist at Medipulse, successfully gave a new lease on life to a 19-year-old woman from Jodhpur suffering from end-stage renal disease. The surgery was completed without complications, and the transplanted kidney became functional immediately — a sign of both surgical precision and the patient’s strong recovery prospects.
“This is more than a medical success; it’s a human story of hope,” said Dr. Jain. “Our team celebrates not only a successful operation but also a young woman’s chance at a normal life again. Such results are possible only through teamwork, dedication, and the compassion of organ donors.”
The transplant team included Dr. Mahendra Jangid (Nephrology), Dr. Amit Singhvi (Urology), Dr. Lalit Bhardwaj, Dr. Bharat Maheshwari, Dr. Neru Gaur, and Dr. Dushyant Sankhla from the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care. They were supported by Medipulse’s cardiology, radiology, and anesthesia departments, along with trained nursing and support staff.
Following the surgery, the patient expressed heartfelt gratitude: “This transplant means everything to me and my family. I’m finally free from dialysis and can now focus on my dreams.”
Dr. Bakhtawer Singh Sodha, Medical Superintendent of Medipulse, said the patient is under close post-operative observation to ensure smooth recovery. He also appealed to the public to support organ donation, noting that such contributions can transform countless lives.
Mayank Singhi, Director of Medipulse, emphasized the hospital’s commitment to accessible, life-saving healthcare. “This was not just an operation — it was a mission to redefine what’s possible in regional medical care,” he said. The entire transplant was conducted under the Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya (MAA) Yojana, making advanced treatment accessible to those in need. He also announced that Medipulse will soon begin registration for cadaveric renal transplants, further expanding its services.
Medipulse Hospital holds the distinction of being Western Rajasthan’s first private kidney transplant center, ushering in a new era of medical excellence in the Marwar region. With two consecutive successful transplants, patients no longer need to travel to distant metropolitan hospitals for complex renal surgeries — quality treatment is now available close to home.
Beyond renal care, Medipulse offers a comprehensive range of super-specialty services, including neurology, neurosurgery, cardiology, cardiac surgery, urology, oncology, orthopedics, bariatric surgery, and critical care. The hospital provides free or subsidized medical care under various government schemes, including Chiranjeevi, RGHS, and other state and central health initiatives — making world-class healthcare more inclusive and accessible for all.
