Man burns alive in car on Jaipur-Agra National Highway

The incident caused panic on the highway and led to traffic jam. Locals saw the man burning alive inside his car and screaming for help. However, the fire was so intense that they couldn’t help the man. They informed the police and waited for fire fighters.

Jaipur: A man was burnt alive after the car he was travelling in caught fire on Agra-Jaipur Highway around 10:30 pm on Sunday. Fire fighters rushed to the spot after the information, but by the time they reached three, the car and the driver were completely burnt. Police are trying to identify the deceased man through with the help of the vehicle’s registration number.

The incident caused panic on the highway and led to traffic jam. Locals saw the man burning alive inside his car and screaming for help. However, the fire was so intense that they couldn’t help the man. They informed the police and waited for fire fighters.

Nothing could be recovered from the car to help police identify the victim.

According to the locals, the car was on its way to Jaipur from Dausa. The driver suddenly applied breaks causing the tyres to catch fire.

The car was completely engulfed in fire within a few minutes. The driver struggled to get out of the car but the door and windows of the car got locked. People watched helplessly as they couldn’t rescue him. Eyewitnesses saw the man burnt alive in the car.

Locals informed the police and fire station. By the time the rescue team arrived, the driver was dead and burnt.
