Man arrested for murdering pregnant wife after gangraping her with friends
The woman was reported by her husband to have committed suicide. Around 2 pm, her nude body was found hanging in the house.

JAIPUR: The city police foiled the attempts of a 27-year-old man to turn a heinous crime of gang rape and murder of his wife into suicide. The man and two others were arrested for gangraping his wife and then murdering her in a suspected case of suicide that was reported on September 21 in Nahargarh police station area.
After arresting husband Deepak Ghodiwal (27), his brother-in-law and another relative for gang rape and murder, the police said that Deepak had hanged his pregnant wife in a nude condition after gangraping her with his friends.
The woman was reported by her husband to have committed suicide. Around 2 pm, her nude body was found hanging in the house.
The police were suspicious about the suicide claim from day one. An FSL examination of the body was conducted and a medical board did the postmortem. The report revealed that she was strangled to death.
The husband Deepak drives an e-rickshaw. The love marriage took place about 10 years ago. They had two daughters aged 5 years and 3 years. Sanjana was just about three months pregnant.
Deepak the police that he left home for work around 8 am as usual. He talked to the wife around 10:30 am. She told her that she was going to Gangauri Hospital leaving the girls in the Anganwadi. She then stopped responding to his calls. When he came home around 2 pm, his wife was found hanging, he told the police.
But the police discovered that Deepak came home with his friends and gang-raped the pregnant wife. When she resisted, he strangled her to death. After the murder, he and his friends hang the dead body in nude condition.
It has come up during the preliminary investigation that Deepak suspected his wife of illicit relationships.
