Lewd video case: SOG files chargesheet against ex-RPS officer

Jaipur: Rajasthan special operations group (SOG) on Monday filed a chargesheet against DSP Hiralal Saini in connection with the lewd video case.
The DSP was terminated from the service after the video showing him and a lady constable in a compromising situation in a swimming pool went viral.
Saini was booked under various sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act as the lady constable’s six-year-old child was also in the swimming pool. DSP Saini and the woman constable were released on bail recently.
The court has fixed November 18 as the next date of hearing in the case.
The video was allegedly shot in a resort in Pushkar. It was the boy’s birthday on July 10. The police officer and lady constable were in a compromising situation in the presence of the child. The child’s mother was saving the video in the phone when they got uploaded to WhatsApp by mistake. People downloaded this video following which it went.
The lady constable’s husband watched the video and lodged a complaint against his wife with Nagaur police. Some people attempted to blackmail the lady constable threatening to circulate the video.
Rajasthan special operations group investigated the case and arrested Saini. The lady constable was arrested. Both were first suspended from the service. They were then terminated.
