JAIPUR: The Jaipur Commissionerate Police is transporting Lawrence Bishnoi to Jaipur on a production warrant related to the G Club shooting case. The police are bringing Lawrence from Punjab to Jaipur for further investigation.

The owner of G Club had filed a case against Lawrence for allegedly attempting to extort money and firing 17 rounds when his demands were not met. Consequently, the police have taken Lawrence into custody in Punjab and are bringing him to Jaipur for questioning.

The police plan to produce Lawrence before the court on Thursday and obtain a remand to continue their investigation. Following this, the Investigation Officer will interrogate Lawrence Bishnoi, who is a Circle Inspector at Jawahar Circle, in connection with the G Club shooting case that was reported at the Jawahar Circle Police Station in Jaipur.

Previously, the police had taken Bishnoi on remand from Tihar Jail for allegedly threatening and extorting money from a businessman in Adarsh Nagar. At that time, Lawrence was held at Gandhi Nagar police station for questioning. Similarly, this time the East district police will also be interrogating Lawrence while he is in remand.

Stringent security measures have been put in place in anticipation of Lawrence’s arrival in Jaipur. The police station where Lawrence will be detained has also been secured. Additionally, it is possible that other police stations in Jaipur may take Lawrence into custody for questioning regarding other extortion cases that have been registered.

Lawrence has been in police custody on a continuous basis ever since the Moosewala murder case. He has multiple cases registered against him throughout the country, which results in various state police forces taking him on remand. Following the Moosewala murder, the Punjab Police had Lawrence in their custody for a month. Subsequently, the NIA took over and questioned Lawrence at their Delhi headquarters.

After receiving information from Lawrence, the NIA arrested his associates residing in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, and the border areas. This operation also resulted in the apprehension of several criminals carrying firearms.
