Husband arrested for school lecturer’s broad daylight murder in Kota

Two days after a school lecturer was brutally stabbed to death in broad daylight in Kota’s Itawa town, the police arrested the woman’s husband for the murder.

Jaipur: Two days after a school lecturer was brutally stabbed to death in broad daylight in Kota’s Itawa town, the police arrested the woman’s husband for the murder.

The accused, Kaushal Nagar, had allegedly stabbed his wife outside the main gate of a local school near Peeplad Road in Itawa on September 17.

The deceased was Rajkanwar Nagar, a resident of Itawa in Kota. She was a lecturer in government senior secondary school. The woman ‘s husband who was named as a suspect in the FIR lodged by the victim’s father allegedly confessed to his crime. He murdered his wife as their relationship had turned sour and she had separated from him.

As per the FIR registered by the deceased woman’s father, Rajkanwar got married to Kaushal Nagar eight years ago.

Her husband used to spy on her. Rajkanwar separated from her husband two years ago and started to live at a rented place after their relationship turned sour. Her husband used to visit her rented house and create ruckus.

According to the police, the deceased went to a school on Monday with one of her students named Golu to collet TC for her son. When she returned from the premises to the main gate of the school, his husband came on a bike and attacked her with a knife on her neck and sped away.

After the incident, Golu ran and informed chief warden about the incident. The deceased was rushed to a nearby hospital. She sustained serious injuries on her neck. Doctors declared her dead on arrival.
