Jaipur: Another coaching student, identified as Nikhil Kumar Dhillon, committed suicide by jumping into Chambal River in Kota on Wednesday. Nikhil, a resident of Rewari in Haryana, jumped into the river from a bridge. The police reportedly found a suicide note in which he sought apology from his parents and stated that he was disappointed with his life, so he was committing suicide. There was allegedly a mention of a girl also in the note. Nikhil wrote that he kept her waiting for more than two years, but he would now join her in another life.

According to the police, Nikhil was a coaching student at a private coaching center in Kota. He was staying in a rented accommodation in Talwandi area along with her sister. According to preliminary reports, the sister had rebuked her for not studying property two days ago. He left home on Tuesday morning. When he didn’t return, the sister registered a missing person’s report with Jawahar Nagar police station in Kota.

The body was found floating in Chambal River on Wednesday.

The police have put the body in the mortuary of a hospital and are waiting for the family members to arrive in Kota. A postmortem examination will be conducted in their presence. Many suicides by coaching students have been reported in Kota in the past three months.
