JIET Universe organises ‘Aarambh 2025’ induction program for new students in Jodhpur

Jodhpur: The induction program “Aarambh 2025” was organized for the students of the 2025 batch at JIET Universe. The event welcomed around 800 first-year students, giving them the opportunity to interact with and gain insights from several renowned personalities. The event brought together industry leaders, educators, and public figures who shared personal insights on leadership, resilience and entrepreneurship.
The inaugural session featured Prof. Akhil Ranjan Garg, vice chancellor of Bikaner Technical University, and Puneet Rao, co-founder and chief operating officer of Matellio Inc., as chief guests. They were greeted by JIET Universe director Dr. Avnish Bora and chairman Mayank Singhi.
Speaking to students, Garg urged them to embrace setbacks as part of the journey toward success. “One should never be afraid of failure in life, but should accept it as a learning experience,” he said. Rao encouraged the audience to think big even when starting small. “If you have an idea, then big work can be done by starting from a small beginning,” he said.
The program also highlighted perspectives from leaders beyond academia and business. Ravindra Singh Bhati, the MLA from Sheo, called on young people to enter public life. “Join politics and become the voice of the common people for change in the country,” he told the crowd.
Entrepreneurship was a recurring theme. Aman Gupta, co-founder and chief marketing officer of BoAt, offered practical advice drawn from his own career. He underscored the importance of technology, urging students to explore artificial intelligence. “This is a world of technology, and more and more work should be done on AI in it,” Gupta said.
Military leadership also took center stage. Col. Anuj Bindra shared lessons from Operation Sindoor, delivering what students described as a powerful and fearless talk. His message of resilience and courage, attendees said, left a lasting impression.
The event included interactions with a wide array of industry experts such as Trilok Tak, Raunak Singhvi, Pallav Maheshwari and Bhomendra Singh Rathore. Students also connected with artists including Pratik, Manish Prajapati, Yashika Singh, Devashish Gaur and Asif, who shared their creative journeys.
The program closed on a lighter note with a stand-up performance by comedian Madhur Virli, who drew laughter from the hall with a string of sharp, humorous observations.
