JEE Main rank to be given priority for admission in Rajasthan engineering colleges

Jaipur: Engineering colleges affiliated with Rajasthan Technical University will give priority to a student’s rank in JEE-Main while preparing cut-off list for admissions. Marks secured in class 12th will be given second priority, according to the latest admission guidelines issued by the Rajasthan Technical University.

Students can apply by filling up forms online between May 15 and June 15.

Fifteen percent of seats will be reserved for students coming to study from other states.

Admissions for BTech will be given on the basis of JEE-Main first paper, while admission for BArch will be given on the basis of JEE-Main second paper.

Students will pay a fee of Rs 700 at the time of filling up forms online.

Students who don’t have an Aadhar card will have to provide Aadhar enrollment number given at the time of applying for the card.

Students will have to deposit Rs 10,000 after registration.

This amount will be adjusted ‘conditionally’ in the annual fee later.

The minimum marks in class 12 should be 45 percent for students from general category and 40 percent for students from reserved categories.

Students born after October 1 can seek admission. The date of birth for students from reserved categories is October 1, 1987.

The last date for depositing fee is June 10.
