Jaipur: Jaipur residents planning an international getaway in January have a new option on the table. The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is launching a special Republic Day–themed Dubai tour, offering travellers a curated overseas experience tied to India’s national celebrations.

The package is scheduled around January 26 and is designed to bring together Indian travellers from multiple cities into a single, unified group for sightseeing in Dubai. According to IRCTC officials, the idea is to showcase a shared “United India” presence abroad, coinciding with Republic Day festivities.

Unlike conventional tour packages that begin from a single city, this Dubai itinerary allows passengers to book from several Indian hubs, including Jaipur, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Ernakulam, Indore and Chandigarh. All travellers will assemble in Dubai and continue the tour together as one group.

The Dubai tour spans four nights and three days. The cost per passenger is Rs. 94,730, which covers airfare, visa charges, accommodation and local travel, making it an all-inclusive international package.

IRCTC officials say the package is aimed at first-time international travellers as well as families looking for a hassle-free overseas trip during the holiday period.

Alongside the Dubai package, IRCTC is also expanding its international portfolio with a 13-day Europe tour covering destinations such as Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Cologne, Madrid, Switzerland and Italy. Two departure windows from Jaipur are planned—April 26 to May 8 and May 24 to June 5.

Bookings for the Europe tour have already opened on IRCTC’s official tourism portal, www.irctctourism.com.

Closer to home, IRCTC is also offering a six-day Srinagar tour beginning May 12, catering to travellers interested in domestic leisure travel during the summer season.

Tourism officials note that demand for packaged international travel from tier-two cities like Jaipur has been steadily rising. Group-based itineraries with fixed pricing and managed logistics are increasingly popular among travellers seeking convenience and cost certainty.
