Jaipur: Rajasthan anti-corruption bureau (ACB) on Friday arrested Indu Saini, RTO inspector deputed at RTO Vidhyadhar Nagar and two middlemen for taking a bribe of Rs 15,00 for issuing a learning license. The two middlemen were identified as Abhishek and Dev Meena. ACB officials said that they were caught red-handed taking the bribe and had assured the ACB complainant that he would be provided a learning license without a driving test.

IG, ACB Sachin Mittal said one man approached the ACB and complained that some officials at RTO Vidhyadhar Nagar were issuing learning license without any driving test. The complainant had also been approached by some middlemen who assured him that he would get a license if he paid a bribe.

After verifying the complaint, the ACB laid a trap under the supervision of ASP, Jaipur rural Narottam Varma.

“The complainant was able to get the license without driving test after paying a bribe of Rs 15,00. When he was handing over the bribe, our team caught RTO inspector Indu Saini and middlemen Abhishek and Dev Meena red-handed. They were arrested under various sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act. Further investigation is going on,” said the officer.
