Jaipur Metro mobile app: All you need to know

Jaipur: The Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation (JMRC) has launched a mobile application under the Digital India Mission to improve the metro services in the city. The mobile application named ‘Jaipur Metro’ is proving really helpful for the people while travelling. More than 50,000 people including foreign tourists have downloaded this app and using it.

The passengers don’t have to waste their time by being physically present to enquire about Jaipur Metro and related transport modes including BRTS. All the information is now available at their fingertips after downloading the app.

Details related to the route chart of all the metros running in Jaipur, timings of the trains, terms and conditions, rent of the metro and much more is being provided.

Apart from the metro details, the Jaipur Metro mobile application provides the information about the routes of the low floor buses. The passengers can use this information to travel in a coordinated manner to save time while travelling in Jaipur. This app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store on android\iOS\ windows phones.

According to public relation officer (PRO) of JMRC Sharad Kumar, the department is trying to improve facilities on the basis of feedback and complaints received through the app.

Information about the nearest metro station, rent of the tour, arrival\departure of the train, water-cooler services, ATM services, control room numbers of metro, parking fees, nearest market and hospitals, baby-feeding room, smart token, smart card, tourist card, police station numbers, lost and found, first and last train, toilets, lift, nearest hotels, roadways booking and much is being provided through Jaipur Metro app.
