Jaipur: Man stabs to death wife’s lover in full public view

Jaipur: A man stabbed to death his wife’s alleged lover at a bus stand in Vishwakarma area in full public view on Tuesday. The victim had come to visit his paramour from Delhi and as soon as he got off the bus, the accused man repeatedly stabbed him and fled the spot. The police have launched a search for him. The victim was rushed to a hospital, but died while undergoing treatment.
The victim was identified as Yogesh Kumar, a resident of Delhi. He had been in a relationship with a married woman for the past several years. The woman relocated to Jaipur with her husband and children a while ago. Since then, Yogesh used to come to Jaipur and visit her discreetly. However, the woman’s husband Karan came to know about their illicit relationship. He recently called up Yogesh and threatened to kill him if he set foot in Jaipur.
On Tuesday, Yogesh came to Jaipur by bus. He got off the bus at Udyog Vihar on Road No. 17 in the Vishwakarma area around 5 am. His girlfriend also reached the bus stand. The woman’s husband Karan followed her to the stand.
Seeing Yogesh and his wife together, Karan lost his cool. He started beating his wife. When Yogesh tried to intervene, Karan stabbed him repeatedly. Yogesh was severely injured. The woman has a three-year-old daughter.
