Jaipur: Man jumps off building on seeing paramour’s husband, dies

Jaipur: A young man who was in a live-in relationship with a married woman jumped off the fifth floor of an apartment building in Pratap Nagar. The woman’s husband took him by surprise when the former showed up at his flat on Wednesday. The man got so scared that he jumped off. He sustained serious injuries and later died at a hospital. Both the woman and her husband are missing, police said.

The victim was identified as Mohsin alias Azam (30), a resident of Kannauj in Uttar Pradesh. He had eloped with a 24-year-old married woman from Nainital about two years ago. The couple had been living in Jaipur since then. For the past one month, he was living in a flat near NRI Circle. On Monday afternoon, the husband showed up at the flat looking for his wife.

As soon as the woman opened the door, Mohsin got scared and jumped from the fifth floor. He was seriously injured. The husband escaped from the spot after Mohsin fell off. The woman brought Mohsin to SMS Hospital, but as his condition was serious, she too disappeared. Mohsin died while undergoing treatment.

Other occupants in the apartment building thought that the couple was married. However, the woman’s husband had been looking for her for two years. He somehow traced her and came to Jaipur to confront her.
