JAIPUR : In Jaipur, masked robbers stole 18 kg of silver from a jewelry shop after threatening the owner with a pistol. The incident, caught on the shop’s CCTV, took place around 9 pm on October 28.
Ghanshyam Soni, the shop owner, was about to close for the day. He had placed two bags outside his shop in Sohan Nagar Mangyawas and was inside the shop when he heard a bike approach. Upon stepping out, he saw a man rush towards the bags.
The robber then pointed a gun at Soni, warning him to run or be shot. Fearing for his life, Soni fled, allowing the robbers to escape with the silver.
Mansarovar police, using the CCTV footage, are actively searching for the suspects. Soni has reported that the stolen silver is worth approximately Rs 12 lakh.
Despite efforts to block their escape, the bike-riding thieves remain at large. The police believe they had planned the robbery in advance and are continuing their search based on the CCTV footage.
