Jaipur-Indore Vande Bharat train to be launched after Jan 10 

The schedule of the Indore-Jaipur and Jabalpur-Indore routes for the Vande Bharat train has been confirmed.

JAIPUR: The wait for the first semi-high-speed train is almost over. Jaipur’s first such train – the Vande Bharat train is likely to be launched in the second week of January. Earlier, it was to start plying between Jaipur and Indore in the first week, but it was postponed. 

The schedule of the Indore-Jaipur and Jabalpur-Indore routes for the Vande Bharat train has been confirmed. Vande Bharat train will make one trip in a day similar to the schedule of the Intercity train. A rake of 16 coaches has also been prepared. 

Maintenance of Indore-Jaipur will be done in Indore shed. However, there is no official confirmation when the train will start, but sources said that the preparations are in full swing. Divisional Railway Manager Rajneesh Kumar inspected Indore on Friday. Western Railway General Manager AK Mishra is also going to come for an inspection on December 26.

The train will leave Indore at 5:50 am and reach Ujjain at 7:20 am. After it will reach Nagda at 8:30 am, Sawaimadhopur at 12:45 pm and Durgapura Jaipur at 2:40 pm.

The train will leave Jaipur – Durgapura at 3:10 pm and reach Sawaimadhopur at 4:45 pm. It will reach Nagda at 9:25 pm, Ujjain at 10:35 pm and Indore at 12:15 pm.
