Jaipur: Hot air balloon ride turns into nightmare for six foreign tourists

Jaipur: A hot air balloon carrying six foreign tourists went out of control, forcing the guide to make an emergency landing on the outskirts of Jaipur, according to preliminary reports.
The balloon had taken off from Samod area in Jaipur rural. It became uncontrollable soon after the take-off. The emergency landing took place in Chounp village near Harmara.
There were no reports of any harm to the tourists. The police have launched an investigation.
According to reports, the hot-air balloon was being operated by a private company. Samod is a famous tourist destination on the outskirts of Jaipur. The balloon took off from a hilly area in Samod. It was carrying six foreign tourists.
The adventure tour soon turned into a nightmarish experience for these tourists as the guide found that he couldn’t control the balloon.
Luckily, the guide managed to make an emergency landing in Harmara area after it went rough.
“All the tourists are safe. An investigation has been launched,” said an officer.
