JMC commissioner Ravi Jain, deputy commissioner Fire Department Shipra Sharma and Chief Fire Officer Jalaj Ghasia were present on the occasion.

Commissioner Ravi Jain stated that issuance of online fire no-objection certificates by Jaipur Nagar Nigam will bring in transparency in the system. The commissioner said that the online documents issued by the municipal corporation including the fire NOC, building permit, license, UD tax, etc, will be of immense help to people of the city. People will not have to run around different places thus saving their time and effort in getting these documents. The function of issuing online fire no-objection certificate has been done through the SmartRaj project.

Jain stated that in the future all fire no-objection certificates will be issued online by the Fire Department of Jaipur Municipal Corporation. This will allow the applicant to apply from home and enjoy a hassle-free process. This is a welcome initiate on part of the authorities as the application process and then getting the documents can at times be a time-consuming process.
