Jaipur: Choreographer arrested for making hoax call about bomb on Mumbai-bound flight
A man, identified as Mohit Kumar Tank, was arrested for making a call to the call center of an airlines company saying that a bomb had been placed on a Mumbai-bound flight.

Jaipur: A man, identified as Mohit Kumar Tank, was arrested for making a call to the call center of an airlines company saying that a bomb had been placed on a Mumbai-bound flight. The flight was to take off from Jaipur International Airport. Fearing that he wouldn’t be able to reach the airport on time to catch the flight, he made the call. Mohit is reportedly a choreographer with a popular dance reality TV show. The Sanganer police are interrogating the man.
Mohit is a resident of Jaipur. He owns houses in Jawhar Nagar and Mansarover. He was to catch an Indigo flight for Mumbai. The flight took off from Jaipur airport around 4.52 am. Mohit made the call to the airlines call center and told the operators that a bomb had been placed on the flight.
The call center received the call around 5.15 am, but the information reached the Jaipur International airport around 6 am.
When the call center employees informed Mohit that the flight had already taken off, he told them about his true intentions. The airlines employees assured him that he would get a ticket for the next flight. As soon as he reached the airport, he was taken into custody and handed over to the Sanganer police for further interrogation.
Mohit is allegedly associated with a dance reality show.
Sanganer sub inspector Jai Prakash confirmed the incident and told The PinkCity Post that the call turned out to be a hoax.
We are interrogating him, said the officer.
