Jaipur: Charred body of 30-year-old woman found in sack on roadside; murder suspected
Jaipur: The body of a woman was found in a sack lying on the roadside in the Bagaru area of Jaipur district on Thursday. Some passers-by felt a foul smell coming from the sack and informed the police. Officials said that the woman was in her thirties. Her face was severely crushed with some object to hide her identity and then she was set on fire. The police said that prima-facie, it appears that the woman was murdered. The police are trying to identify the victim.
The sack was lying under a tree near Dhankya village in Bagaru. An FSL team rushed to the spot when the recovery of a human body was confirmed. The police have not ruled out the possibility that someone threw acid on the victim’s fact to distort it.
Police also suspect that the victim was murdered nearly 24-36 hours ago. The body was stuffed in a sack and transported to the spot in a vehicle.
The cops are collecting the details of all mission person reports to check if someone matching the victim’s description has been reported missing. Police officials said that if the woman belonged to the Bagaru area, her identity will be ascertained very soon.
“There is a tattoo on the victim’s right hand. We have released the description of her appearance to all the police stations,” said a police officer.
