Jaipur AU Marathon 2026: Dates, events, what participants can expect

Jaipur: The 17th edition of the AU Jaipur Marathon is shaping up to be more than a single race day. With the official event calendar now released, organisers have outlined a month-long fitness and community movement that will run through January and culminate in the main marathon on February 1, 2026.

Backed by World Trade Park and Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha with AU Small Finance Bank as the title partner, the marathon has support from the Rajasthan Tourism Department, Rajasthan Sports Council and Rajasthan Youth Board. Actor and fitness icon Milind Soman has been named the brand ambassador, reinforcing the event’s focus on active lifestyles.
Organisers describe the 2026 edition as a city-wide fitness campaign rather than a standalone sporting event. Training, outreach and engagement activities will involve students, corporate professionals, runners and first-time participants. Jaipur has been divided into four training zones, each supported by coaches through the Jaipur Runners Club to help participants prepare safely.
The organisers expect a significant rise in participation across all categories. The Dream Run alone is projected to attract close to one lakh runners, which could set a new benchmark for community participation in the city.
