Jaipur-Asarwa Superfast: First direct train between Jaipur-Ahmedabad from tomorrow

JAIPUR: First direct train between Jaipur and Ahmedabad will be operational from March 3.
North Western Railway will operate the train which will run via Ajmer, Udaipur, Dungarpur, and Himmatnagar. This train, named Jaipur-Asarwa (Ahmedabad) Superfast Express, will benefit passengers travelling from Jaipur to Gujarat.
The train will run seven days a week and depart from Jaipur at 7:35 pm daily, arriving in Asarwa (Ahmedabad) at 8:50 am the next day. The return journey, train number 12982, will depart from Asarwa (Ahmedabad) at 6:45 pm daily from March 4, and reach Jaipur at 7:35 am the next day.
The train will make stops at Phulera, Kishangarh, Ajmer, Nasirabad, Bhilwara, Chanderiya, Mavli Jn, Rana Pratapnagar, Udaipur City, Jawar, Dungarpur, Shamlaji Road, Himmatnagar, Nandol Dahegam, and Sardar Gram stations.
This is the first direct train from Jaipur to Ahmedabad, and it will run regularly as train number 12981. Previously, the trains from Jaipur to Ahmedabad operated from other stations, resulting in an increased passenger crowd and less reservation quota for Jaipur.
Currently, daily trains such as Jaipur to Ashram Express (New Delhi to Ahmedabad), Aravali Express (Ganganagar to Ahmedabad), Daulatpur Chowk Sabarmati Express (New Delhi to Ahmedabad), Yoga Express (Rishikesh to Ahmedabad), and Rajdhani Express (New Delhi to Ahmedabad) operate between Jaipur and Ahmedabad, along with 12 other trains that run only one or two days a week.
