Jaipur: Army man’s body found hanging from tree, suicide suspected

Jaipur: The body of a soldier, deputed as Lance Naik, was allegedly found hanging from a tree near army’s training center in Jaipur on Friday. The victim, Vijay Khatod, was a resident of Himachal Pradesh and was deputed as Lance Naik in Jaipur’s army area.
His body was spotted hanging from the tree around 8 am. A team from Vaishali Nagar police station rushed to the spot and rushed the body to the mortuary of SMS Hospital in Jaipur.
Prima-facie, the police suspect that it was a case of suicide, however said that further investigation is going on.
Police didn’t confirm if any suicide note had been recovered.
