Jaipur: Eight domestic flights and one international flight will be terminated at the Jaipur International Airport from March 31 in the revised summer schedule, said officials. However, a new direct flight connecting Jaipur and Dharamshala has been started. The number of operational flights at Jaipur airport will be 63 from March 31. It is currently 72.
According to the officials, the flight schedule changes twice a year. The winter schedule will be in effect till March 30. A new summer schedule will come into force at the airport from March 31 which will lead to less air connectivity from Jaipur as nine flights are being terminated.
Currently, three flights each to Varanasi and Udaipur are being launched from Jaipur airport. From April, only one flight each to these cities will be functional thrice in a week, added officials.

Also, a notice to airmen (NOTAM) will be implemented at Jaipur airport from April. According to this, no flight will be operated at Jaipur airport between 10:30 pm to 5 am. A Taxi track is being built along with the runway at the airport due to which the decision has been taken. The construction work will be undertaken from 10:30 pm to 5:00 am near the runway.
A total of 65 domestic flights to 23 different cities and seven flights to five international destinations are being operated at Jaipur International Airport currently.
