From August 1, Air Asia flight I5-1229 will depart for Hyderabad at 5:45 pm. Also, from August 1, Air Asia’s Mumbai flight I5-942 will start daily between Jaipur and Mumbai. It will depart for Mumbai at 10:25 am. These flights had been discontinued recently due to the decreasing passenger footfall.

At least 4-5 flights are being cancelled daily due to low passenger load. Tourists visit Rajasthan including Jaipur till March. Due to the decrease in the number of tourists visiting Rajasthan, the flight occupancy rate suffers from April to August.

There are 53 domestic flights scheduled from the airport daily but on average, only 49 flights are being operated. In August also, it would be around 50. It is expected that the arrival of tourists will increase from October, so flight operations will return to normalcy.
