Jaipur: 305 criminals of Anandpal, Lawrence Bishnoi, Raju Theth gangs arrested
More than 2,100 policemen raided over 350 places simultaneously in seven districts
JAIPUR: Rajasthan Police carried out a major operation across seven districts in the state, resulting in the arrest of 305 miscreants.
The action was taken in Bikaner, Churu, Ganganagar, and Hanumangarh districts of the Bikaner range, as well as in the Udaipur, Jodhpur, and Kota districts. More than 2,100 policemen raided over 350 places simultaneously in these districts. The SPs of all seven districts led the operation and raided hideouts of gangsters and hardcore miscreants in their respective areas.
The operation was monitored by Bikaner Range IG Om Prakash, who sat in the control room at 5 am on Sunday. The task was to catch the miscreants simultaneously in the entire range, as per the instructions of ADG Crime Dinesh MN from the police headquarters.
During the operation, the police arrested the criminals associated with the Anandpal, Raju Theth, and Lawrence Bishnoi gangs. They also found a bulletproof jacket with one of the arrested miscreants, which belonged to Anandpal. The police also arrested history-sheeter Raju Singh, who is a close associate of Anandpal, from Gajner police station in Bikaner. They recovered six pistols, 44 bullets, and a bulletproof jacket from Raju.
Ganganagar police arrested history-sheeter Hariom Ramavat, who is associated with the 1 lakh prize crook Rohit Godara, and recovered a pistol and bullets from him. They also arrested Kuljit Rana and Ashish Bishnoi, close aides of Lawrence Bishnoi, and seized several important documents from them. Ashish is a history sheeter of Gharsana and works for Lawrence.
The police are further investigating the matter.
